Praying For Strength To Carry On
God, let us feel the Holy Spirit as He comforts us. Help us to realize that You are the only one we need, especially in times of trial.

Can I Pray Whenever I Am Sad
You should pray to the heavens whenever you are sad. Most times, this will help you to properly express how you feel to the universe. Whenever you are sad, always pray to God. However, you must be careful to not allow doubt, fear, and depression to contaminate the energy that comes from your prayer. When the sad feeling is properly channeled, it can become a powerful force that will generate an answer to your prayer.
Praying to the universe whenever you are sad is a good way to express your feelings to the universe about a situation in your life that is unpleasant to you. Therefore, dont stop praying to the universe whenever you are sad. However, you must ensure that it is mixed with faith and confidence.
Litany Against Isolation And Loneliness
During the season of Lent, we have been spending time in our Prayers of the People to acknowledge corporate sins in our world of which we need repentance and amendment of life. Todays prayer is a litany against alienation and loneliness. We heard from our Old Testament reading in Isaiah, that God desires to meet the needs of his people. Today we lament the role that loneliness and isolation play in our world. We ask you, God, to restore, like rivers in the desert, that you might meet the needs of your people and that we might offer our praise to you.
After each prayer, I will say Lord in your mercy and you can respond with hear our prayer. With these prayers, we as a community ask for Gods redemptive presence in the church, world, community and individual lives. And we offer our own lives to Gods mission of healing and reconciliation in the world. Let us pray.
Almighty and most merciful God, we remember before you today all neglected persons whom it would be easy for us to forget: the homeless and the destitute, the old and the sick, widows, and orphans, and all who have none to care for them. Help us to heal to turn their sorrow into joy. Grant this, Father, for the love of your Son, who for our sake became poor, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You today to lift up those that are lonely and who feel deserted or left alone by those they love, and pray that in Your grace and mercy You would draw near to all who are broken-hearted or crushed in spirit, and deliver them from the difficulties and troubles that they are facing today. Draw very close to them Lord. Enfold them in Your loving arms, quiet their hearts and bring into their lives that perfect peace and gracious comfort that only comes from You, for You have promised to place those that are lonely in families and You have promised the widow that, your Maker is your husband. Prayer For The Deliverance From The Spirit Of Loneliness
When Jesus knew that His ministry on this earth was coming to an end, He comforted His disciples. He assured them that they would not be left alone.
Jesus promised to ask the Father to send the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, who would help them and be with them forever. When we commit our lives to the Lord Jesus, we too receive that promise.
We are not alone, and Gods word is the truth over our lives. The Holy Spirit is our peace and brings the grace of God, His power and love, into our lives. We can pray for deliverance from any negative mindset that opposes the truth of Gods word.
Dear Lord Jesus, I thank you that you came to release those who are bound by oppression. I believe in the truth of your word, and that I can have freedom from fear. I thank you now, that I am loved by you with an everlasting love. I am not alone, for you are with me all the time, when I am aware of your presence and when I am not.
I pray that you would deliver me from all negative thoughts of abandonment and fill me with joy and a fresh awareness of your love. Help me to take captive those negative thoughts and choose to meditate on the truth of your grace and love over my life. Amen.

The Churchs Response To Loneliness
As I read these sobering statistics, I am grieved to know these findings hold true for those both inside and outside the church.
I have seen it personally. And the church must course correct this issue.
For years I have heard seasoned believers speak of their hearts longings for true community but of their inability to find it inside the programs of the church. They had purposed not to leave the flock but were disillusioned with the status quo in church programs and discipleship.

He does the rest! And you know, all of those things I worried about worked out, one way or another. My self-imposed worry was causing horrible physical symptoms and depression. It wasnt until I took a breath, rested, truly came to Jesus, got quiet, let go of all the details, told God that I trusted Him completelyand then learned to do nothingthat I finally found peace. My prayers became less about my situation and more about my trust in Him.

Loving Lord, my heart is breaking as I feel so very lonely and alone in my marriage.
